The National Wild Turkey Federation’s Wheelin’ Sportsmen magazine is gearing up for the Fall 2004 issue. Wheelin’ Sportsmen and has a target audience of all disabled people interested in the outdoors, especially recreational shooting, hunting and fishing. Our photo needs for the Fall 2004 issue of Wheelin’ Sportsmen magazine are pictures illustrating: - Disabled individuals hunting cropland - Individuals shooting airguns We are also looking for great close-up shots of: - Elk - English Setters - Brittany Spaniels - Vislas - German Shorthair Pointers - Gordon Setters
Please limit your submission to five slides per species or subject. Any scenic shots with disabled outdoors enthusiasts in them are also welcome, as well as cropland/farm shots. Photos must show sportsmen and women practicing safety and ethics. If possible, each photo should have a written caption with a description of the shot and the names of any people shown. Please send the original (not duplicates) transparencies; 35mm slides are preferred. The deadline for photo submissions is September 10, 2004. Key West Citizen, Well-Rounded Journalist The Marathon-Big Pine Free Press is seeking a well-rounded journalist who is adept at covering all aspects of a community, from civic clubs to city hall. The Free Press is a weekly community newspaper in the Florida Keys, covering the Middle and Lower Keys. It also serves as a bureau for The Key West Citizen, the Keys' only local daily. The successful candidate will have experience covering politics, cops, schools and writing features and will have basic photography skills.
