2005 Spring Fling FOWA Conference Helloooo baaaaaby. No, it’s not the Big Bopper speaking, just Dougie Kelly inviting you to join all the fun for the 2005 Spring Fling Conference and to enter the FOWA Excellence In Craft Awards. On the back of this letter is a rundown of what’s in store at the Conference in Haines City and a registration form. The attached sheet tells you all you need to know about the EIC contest and a registration form. First, a few interesting points about the April 7-10 conference. Those who attend will be treated to awesome country cooking, shooting sports, rides on a swamp buggy and an airboat, and a dinner with a rodeo thrown in at River Ranch Resort. Fat bass await those fishing with professional guides on Lake Pierce, and just wait until you see the new Cypress Gardens (where besides touring the beautiful park we’ll enjoy dinne and entertainment). Transportation will be provided by our host, the Central Florida Visitor’s & Convention Bureau, and they’re also sponsoring the kickoff dinner at the unique and beautiful conference headquarters: the FFA Leadership Training Center in Haines City.
