RIVER RANCH LODGING: River Ranch can only guarantee its special FOWA room rates until JUNE 21, so I urge you to call and make reservations NOW! I may be able to get an extension, but with “resorts” it’s sometimes difficult. AND don’t forget to register for the Conference, too!
EIC: The deadline for this year’s entries is June 5. Entries must be postmarked by that date. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a category, we have 3 left (Newspaper Feature or Column, Conservation Story and Corporate/Tourism Self-Promotion). And thanks so much to our current sponsors, and to General Motors for picking up the slack and sponsoring 3 categories this year!

He was lobbying OWAA to have the next convention in Florida, but was told he needed a state association before the group would consider the offer. Allyn returned, determined that Florida would host in 1946.
